He holds an MSc in Finance and Development and a BA in Economics and Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Xiamen and a Master’s degree from Beijing Normal University, both earned entirely in Chinese. For the past 5 years, Georg has been based in Osaka, where he served as an instructor and led several university research projects in Osaka, Kyoto, and the Okinawa region. Georg is fluent in English, Italian, French, and Mandarin Chinese, with an advanced level of proficiency in several other languages, including Japanese.
